Cinnamon Shore Travel Guide

July 13, 2020

Cinnamon Shore, AKA my new happy place! I have been putting off writing this post because it makes me sad that I am not there, LOL. So let’s start off by saying that I have always been hesitant to travel to Texas beaches and never been super impressed with the water/towns compared to Florida. After visiting Seaside FL, I didn’t think anything would ever compare but boy was I wrong. Patrick and I had planned to go to San Diego/LA for our 2nd anniversary but obviously with COVID, that wasn’t gonna happen. I wanted to go somewhere in Texas that wasn’t a big city where we could just relax and explore somewhere new. I follow 2 bloggers who had shared their families traveling to Cinnamon Shore in late May and I immediately googled it and literally booked our 1 bedroom condo within 30 minutes of researching and calling to ask allll my questions haha. Good thing I booked on such a whim because they are almost booked up through July/August! So crazy! I feel like I found a hidden gem that might not be hidden for much longer because this is THE cutest place I have ever been in Texas by far. It is 2nd best to Seaside but with the location and ease of getting there faster, it’s almost tied in my opinion. I also love that it is less touristy and busy than Seaside, especially during this time.

When booking, we booked directly on their website: www.cinnamonshore.com and searched for 1 bedroom condos. It is definitely a very big family friendly place with houses/condos and town homes to rent. It is on the pricy side but I think it is SO worth every penny because of the amenities, organization and overall cuteness lol. I want to share some of our favorite spots, what we ordered and why we want to go back every year from now on haha! We also can’t wait to take our kids here someday, we were one of few couples there without children but it would be great either way! Super family friendly or great for a getaway for couples, friends or even for a bachelorette trip! I am going to break it down by must do’s, eats and other helpful tips when traveling to CS! Here are some pics from our adorable condo:

Must do’s when visiting Cinnamon Shore:

  1. Rent their beach chairs and umbrellas for beach days! It saved us so much effort and time because when you arrive to the beach, your chairs and umbrellas are already set up with your name on it! It is $35 a day I believe and so worth it! Not to mention, they are the cutest beach chairs and umbrellas ever! We booked those directly with CS!

  2. Golf cart rental! 10/10 recommend. We rented it for 2 out of the 4 days we were there and honestly we regretted not getting it for every day. I can’t believe I have never been to a beach that does this. It is the most genius idea ever. No more lugging all your beach necessities, kids toys, bags, food by foot. It literally saves so much time and makes the whole experience even more fun. Our favorite part was doing night rides on the beach in our golf cart. We brought this portable speaker and listened to it in our cart! We rented through Top Deck golf carts which CS recommends. They literally dropped our golf cart off and texted us that it was at our condo and left the keys, so efficient and organized! The golf cart we rented was about $120/day and fits up to 6 people(we obviously had plenty of space haha).
  3. Enjoy the live music, lawn games and scenery! They have live music on Wednesdays and maybe one other night a week along with movie nights on the lawn for kids(the whole lawn area feels just like Seaside no joke). There is also a snow cone/candy truck, so cute!

  4. Enjoy the beach but also the pools were one of our favorite parts! There are 3 pools, Dune, Stiillwater and Keira’s. We never made it to the stillwater pool(it is the smallest one) but we loved the other 2. Super clean, plenty of seating and lounge chairs and even free cabanas to relax and eat in! Also, not to mention the best pool food ever, but I’ll get to that in the food section haha. The pools stay open until 10 pm so we did a few night swims which was so fun and way less crowded.
  5. Fish or walk along the boardwalk at the pond. There is an adorable little pavilion and you can rent fishing equipment from the front office for cheap! Walk around and dream of living in their beautiful homes! Also, there is a fun area with outdoor games, chess, ring toss and more! Definitely check their schedule for events and free activities each day!

Must eats/drinks when visiting Cinnamon Shore:

  1. COFFEE at Coffee Waves CS location! This is a new location and isn’t even on their website yet. Coffee waves has another bigger location in Port A that has more gelato/food options that we went to 2 times as well. But wow is this some good beach coffee. We walked to Coffee Waves every morning and I loved the iced vanilla latte and Patrick loved the caramel macchiato. We also loved their marble pound cake and gelato was yum too!

  2. Dylan’s Pizza in CS! Such a fun atmosphere with tons of outdoor seating. We loved the pizza with goat cheese and sausage, the garlic knots, caesar salad and Italian donuts for dessert, SO yum!! It is also a great place to get take out and eat back at your place
  3. Lisabella’s in CS! They are closed certain days of the week so make sure to check that before going! We made a reservation and ate at the bar. It is definitely on the higher price end but the food was so fresh and the atmosphere is adorable! It is right in the middle of CS near the live music! We ordered delicious cocktails(mine was a marg on the rocks of course!) crab cakes & garlic bread for the appetizer and seafood enchiladas and a seafood pasta for our entree. The seafood enchiladas were by far our favorite!

  4. C Bar at Keira’s pool: by far best poolside food EVER! We ate here basically everyday for lunch in between the beach and the pool. It is the closest pool to the beach so it’s the perfect way to cool off and refresh after the sand. We loved ordering their frozen cocktails, my fav was the piña colada! For lunch, we basically tried everything and it was ALL good. We recommend splitting a meal since they are bigger and ordering an appetizer to save some $$. We loved the broiled shrimp appetizer, chips and queso, cheeseburger and fries and the fish tacos were UNREAL! Here is the best part, we were at the beach and a worker from C bar handed us a menu and said we could place an order over the phone and they would deliver food to where we were sitting at the beach….like literally seaside service. So what did we do? Ordered a kids hot dog, best decision ever haha!

  5. Seafood & Spaghetti Works Restaurant: perfect date night or family night out spot! It was pretty busy and felt like a good local spot that is family owned. I loved the mango mojito! We both ordered seafood of course, Pat got the lemon shrimp and I got the blue cheese fish dish topped with bacon and all the goods.
  6. Lelo’s Island Burgers: this was our first stop when arriving in Port A! It was soo delish! I was sold when I found out they serve their cocktails in tiki glasses, so fun! We ordered the island punch, cheese curds and the onion burger, freakin good!!

7. Black Marlin Grill: We accidentally went on a night they were only opened on the patio so make sure to check but this was maybe the best meal we had. They are famous for their shrimp and grits and they didn’t disappoint. We also ordered their seafood dip, margs on the rocks & fried shrimp, delish! It is also in a beautiful golf resort so it is definitely a must do!

Overall, we are obviously obsessed with Cinnamon Shore and already want to go back! Let me know if you decide to go, I’d love to hear how you like it or comment below if you have been before and tell me why you love it! I know this way realllly long haha but I wanted to give y’all all the deets to tell you about all of our favorite spots and must do’s! Don’t forget to check out their gift shop for cute souvenirs!!

Sad to leave CS haha!

Happy Travels! XOXO, LPOC

Let’s go to Quebec!

January 12, 2020

If you are looking for a new place to travel or something to add to your bucket list, put Quebec City at the TOP of your list!! I recently was lucky enough to visit this beautiful city for a girls trip and I still can’t believe it’s real. We visited right before Christmas, literally the week before and it was actually the most perfect time to go. The whole city is decked out in all the Christmas decor and locals actually said this was their ‘down time’ compared to busier weeks in January and February. It literally felt like it was our group of girls and locals, no long waits at any restaurants and finding an uber didn’t take too long either! I had such an amazing time and I wanted to document my favorite parts, places we ate, the many drinks we drank and all the in between. I will break it down into categories to make it easier to read, hopefully!

Where to stay:

We stayed at the Hilton Quebec because one of our friends sons works for Hilton, so we got a really good deal! It was in a perfect location to quickly Uber to the main area in like 5 minutes. We wanted to walk but it was just too cold and snowy! I know a lot of people recommend staying at the Chateau Frontenac(the famous beautiful hotel). We visited it instead and had high tea there, which I will talk about later because AMAZING! So if you are going and want to save some money on hotel, definitely recommend the Hilton, it is going through a major renovation so it should be done within a year and will be SO nice.

The view from out hotel room at the Hilton Quebec. My favorite way to wake up each day in this magical city.

Oh and this hotel pairs well with matching pjs of course(oh and moose slippers).

Eats:

Oh my goodness, where do I even start. Food is my favorite part of traveling and I absolutely love researching the best eats a city has to offer and planning our days around all the yummy food. For dinners, we had some pretty amazing food that you have to try if you go to Quebec. The first night we arrived, we had a casual dinner at Le Chic Shack(we went alone just for the name haha) very on brand with LPOC. They are known for boozy milkshakes and burgers, so we said HECK yes. I ordered the maple whiskey milkshake and the le chic burger with truffle fries, holy yum. We absolutely loved the casual, chill atmosphere and affordable cuisine. And yes, Americans traveled all the way to Canada and immediately ordered burgers & fries. And yes, they are delish.

Another dinner we loved was at Lapin Saute. It was the most ‘french’ place we ate at. Very small, cozy restaurant with unreal entrees. I ordered the open faced roast beef sandwich with frites and champagne. We ended the meal with sugar pie(MOST AMAZING DESSERT). It’s basically the most amazing honey/maple pie ever. Perfect date night spot.

The last dinner that we loved the MOST was Sapristi. It’s described as cheery, Italian cuisine and it was exactly that. We loved everything from the cheese board, cocktails(must order: Mona Spritz) to the rich, delicious pasta(I ordered the pasta carbonara and we also loved the bacon mac n cheese) and finished with the baked s’mores to share.

We love Sapristi and Mona spritzes!

For drinks: We frequented a few pubs/bars that we quickly became regulars at haha! We loved Q’de Sac for really good cocktails and a fun atmosphere. They have hockey shots and a bar that lights on fire! So fun! Look for us on the wall on a polaroid picture haha! See proof below haha!!

Another bar we loved was right in front of the Funiculaire sign and serves 6 maple whiskey shots for $10, that’s all I know haha. It’s a typical bar/pub, it’s in the petit champlain area with all the shops and restaurants! Here is a picture of the bottle of maple whiskey that we all took a bottle of home! I also recommend Bar 1608 which is inside the famous hotel, Chateau Frontenac. High quality cocktails and truffle popcorn for the win.

For brunch/coffee:

We had the most delicious brunch at La Buche! We loved the french toast, crepes, canadian bacon and mimosas! So yum! Definitely try poutine when traveling to Quebec, it’s their famous fries with cheese and gravy, so weird but actually so good.

For coffee, I loved Cafe La Maison Smith. There are 2 locations and both are super cute! We went to the Petit Champlain location. The other coffee shop we loved was Cafe Saint Henri. Unreal atmosphere and the best donuts and lattes! I ordered the vanilla donut and mocha!

To do’s:

My number one recommendation when traveling to Quebec is to go dog sledding! It was so worth the price and the coolest thing I’ve possibly ever done! We did it with Le Chenil Au Chalet and it was very organized, clean and amazing from start to finish!! You can get snow gear for $25 and after dog sledding, you get puppy playtime and hot chocolate, best time ever.

Another thing we loved was the Christkindlmarket! It is only on the weekends I believe! It is so fun to walk around and grab a snack, dessert or mulled wine! Right near it is the famous Christmas shop, La Boutique de Noel where we bought some adorable Christmas ornaments and souvenirs!

Other must do’s:

-High Tea at Chateau Frontenac(around $55 American dollars and worth every penny! Such a fun experience and it’s like 6 courses!

-Sledding at the Chateau near the Funiculaire.

-Shopping and taking photos basically anywhere because the streets are amazing!!

Things I might skip(didn’t live up to the hype):

We went on the ferry one night because we were told it was the best view of Quebec and that it had a bar on it, well neither of these things seemed to be true! It is just public transportation and we wouldn’t recommend going on it at night. Also, the famous funiculaire which is essentially a 2 minute ride elevator for $3 was not really as cool as we thought it would be. Other than that, there are no complaints(besides the ones we sent to Air Canada haha!).

If you made it this far, you win for being the most patient person. Sorry it was so lengthy, I had a lot to say I guess!

Best girls trip EVER!

WE LOVE QUEBEC!

ATX travel guide

June 20, 2019

Austin, TX is possibly one of my favorite cities EVER! The food, the sights, the views, the coffee, it’s just best. I recently visited ATX for a couples trip with my sister and her husband and it was SO much fun! We had a blast exploring the city and I wanted to share some of our favorite spots and must do’s when in Austin!

WHAT TO DO:

Our first night, we headed to downtown and walked around South Congress. We attempted to see the bats on the bridge but summertime isn’t always the best for that because it was too dark to see them..haha. However, it was still a really cool view of the city and literally everyone was there!

SHOPPING:

We LOVE the Domain shopping area for lunch and shopping. They have the best stores and keep adding more! The new Erin Condren store is literally teacher dreams so we made a pit stop in there!

SIGHTSEEING:

One of our favorite views of the city is at Mt. Bonnell! It is a quick ‘hike’ up some stairs to an incredible view of Austin and the gorgeous hills around it!

CHEAP FUN:

Peter Pan Putt Putt! Y’all we had so much fun playing putt putt and its BYOB! Thanks to my friend recommending this place on instagram, we will definitely hit this up again next time. It’s old school and cheesy and I love it for that. It is in a shared area in Barton Springs and I 10/10 recommend.

WHERE TO STAY:

We were lucky enough to stay at the Home 2 Suites by the Domain in ATX and I can’t rave about it enough. It was in a perfect location right across the street from the Domain and a good distance away from city center so there wasn’t as much traffic! The hotel staff were soo thoughtful and kind and our room was extra spacious which was perfect for 4 of us! Their prices are super affordable and their rooms are so chic, what more can you ask for?!

EATS:

For a quick, casual dinner, we hit up Discada! It’s a taco food truck in a neighborhood right outside the city center and it was full of locals. The elote(street corn) and their special tacos, discada were unbelievable. Also, the prices were so affordable and it was the perfect summer pitstop before heading to grab a drink!

COFFEE:

My two favorite coffee spots in ATX are #1 Greater Goods and #2 Seventh Flag Coffee. They are both super cute shops with plenty of seating and lots of options. I grabbed an iced vanilla latte at Greater Goods and an iced cinnamon/vanilla latte at Seventh Flag and both were DELISH!

DINNER:

We have always wanted to try Hanks in ATX but never been until now. I regret not going EVERY single time we have come because holy cow it was so good. Also the atmosphere is amazing. They have the best happy hour selection and I had the paloma: a grapefruit margarita and it was only $5! We loved all of our food and they have the biggest patio perfect for cool summer nights.

The hot chicken sandwich…YUM!

DRINKS:

We grabbed drinks and apps at Moonshine Bar & Grill in downtown and loved it! Their shrimp corn dogs were unreal and they have fun cocktails!

BREAKFAST:

My friend recommended Rockstar Bagels on instagram and I am so glad we went. It is a definitely a hot spot among locals because we may or may not have gone TWICE in our short stay in Austin and there was a long line of locals both times…! We loved their rockstar bagel with bacon, egg, chive schmear an everything bagel!!

PIZZA:

We obviously had to hit up Homeslice pizza because it’s just that good. We actually went to their other location(not on south congress) and liked it even better! It was less crowded, bigger and tasted just as good as the original spot! We love their pizza with Italian sausage and ricotta cheese, just do it!

Well that’s pretty much everything we did and ate in Austin on our quick weekend getaway and I would do it all again next time because we just loved it all! I hope you can check out some of these places next time your in ATX!

Thanks for reading all the way to the bottom, you are the real champ!

XOXO, LPOC

city guide: CHICago

January 13, 2018

I recently traveled to the Windy City with my family  and wanted to share some of my favorites, must do’s and eats! I also wanted to share what to pack/wear during the cold months! Read below for my musts when in Chicago…

What to wear: We traveled during Christmas time and the frigid temps hadn’t hit too bad yet. I was able to fit 2 coats(one fur), lots of sweaters and boots in one carry on so anything is possible y’all! When traveling, I always say to go out of your comfort zone and pick a color palette so that you can mix and match looks throughout your trip. For this look, I wanted to add some color to my usually very neutral winter wardrobe. This striped scarf did just that! I had already had this blush pink blazer coat and it matched perfectly with my scarf I scored for under $15. I wore lots of beanies and hats when in Chicago due to 1. wind and 2. cold. I have been seeing a lot of berets making a comeback in the fashion world and I found this camel colored one at Target that I had to have. It tamed my colorful look and kept me warm at the same time. For accessories, I wore my SugarFix gold tassel earrings from Target that dressed up my outfit just enough.

Where to go: Traveling to the outer neighborhoods of Chicago was one of the highlights. You can find really good food and shopping without all of the tourists if you take a metro out of the central city. I also really loved the area around the Bean. It has really tall buildings, beautiful architecture and it was decorated adorable at Christmas time.

My favorite spots: 1. Lincoln Park 2. Damen Avenue

Places we didn’t make it to but wanted to: 1. North Avenue Beach 2. Oak Street Beach

Where to eat/drink: 1. Little Goat Diner(brunch) 2. Intelligentsia Coffee(so many locations but all good) 3. Mindy’s Hot Chocolate(literally richest, most delicious hot chocolate ever) 4. Portillo’s(cheap, classic Chicago staple for hot dogs, hot beef sandwiches) 5. Revival food hall(all the choices!)

What to do: Skydeck for this bomb view! It was totally worth the price and we ended up doing the art institute package for both skydeck and art institute and it was definitely worth it. Another must do was ice skating at the new rink near the Bean at Maggie Daley Park. The ice rink isn’t your typical ice rink and it has awesome views of the city from a distance. The last thing I would recommend during the holiday season is the Holiday Trolley Lights Tour. Our first stop was at Sprinkles Cupcakes, then we hit up the Christkindlmarket(German Market) for some hot mulled wine and shopping. Our last stop was at Lincoln Park Zoo to look at the Zoo lights. It was so fun and a great way to see all of the sights at once when you don’t have a car!

You can shop my look by clicking any picture below! Happy Saturday and yay for a long weekend!!

Cheetah in Chicago

December 30, 2017

Here’s to the new year and beginnings! I am sharing this look with y’all that I recently wore when traveling to Chicago over Christmas! I just think it would be the perfect New Year’s Eve look for the cold, wintery weather we will be having! I see sooo many sequins(which are cute don’t get me wrong) but ya girl ain’t all about that bling. This year, I’m opting for fur, cheetah that is! It makes a statement, keeps you warm and is sure to stand out at your New Year’s bash! Read below for why I love this coat and why you should too…

For this New Year’s eve look, I am keeping it casual, cozy and chic! You will not catch me in heels and a dress this year, it’s too cold y’all! I scored this Cheetah fur coat from Old Navy for under $40 in stores and it is my favorite winter purchase. I love that it is just black and white and it does not shed, praise the Lord! Because this coat is really loud and makes a statement, I wanted to keep the rest of my look neutral to give the coat all of the attention it deserves, ya know. I wore a black ruffled sweater, black skinny jeans and finished my look with my go to boots, these tall suede grey ones from none other than TARGET! I got them last season but they brought them back in black too(linked below ready to shop)

To accessorize, I wanted to add a pop of color and this fur maroon beanie did just that! I seriously got this for 6 dollars y’all…no joke. The fur actually looks expensive and I just love this berry color and how it contrasted with my neutral outfit. I finished with my black leather cross body bag that is the perfect travel piece and wore my go-to Fossil rose gold watch that I never take off.

I challenge you to step out of your comfort zone this New Year’s Eve and wear something you don’t always get to wear, that is what it’s all about!  Shop my fur coat and the rest of this look by clicking any image below and it will take you directly to shop it on the website where I purchased it!

Happy 2018!!

my travel companion

December 24, 2017

I just recently traveled north to Chicago for a quick, Christmas family vacay and we had such a fun, festive time! I am so excited to be partnering with Delsey Luggage this holiday season to share my new favorite luggage for your next big or small trip! This suitcase has changed the travel game and it is the most sleek, practical luggage I have ever seen! Read below for details about my carry on bag and what I wear when traveling…

The suitcase I used on my trip to Chicago was the Desley Carry-on Expandable spinner luggage in silver grey and rose gold(my favorite colors). Not only is it the perfect carry on size, but it fit all of my sweaters, scarves and winter accessories with its expandable compartment! I have never owned a super nice piece of luggage until now and I am never going back, but for real. It is the spinner luggage that just walks with you without having to drag it behind you and it is just the best, most fun way to travel! Follow this link to shop my exact suitcase now that is currently on sale!! https://shop.delsey.com/product/bastille-lite/carryon-expandable-spinner-luggage?attribute=c70c0406-c693-4813-9867-453e226a5f0f

When traveling, comfort is key for me. I am almost always traveling in leggings, an oversized top or sweater and some fun accessories like a hat/scarf/etc. For this look, I needed to be both comfy and warm for our first day in the windy city. I started with my leggings from Old Navy that can double as dress pants(winning!) I then added more black with my black v-neck top. Next, I layered this oversized grey sweater that is just THE best ever because it keeps you warm and covers your booty in leggings! To  keep warm, I added this grey and white plaid blanket scarf that is currently on sale and linked below. I realized blanket scarves are the way to go on an airplane because they double as an actual blanket!!

To accessorize my travel look, I added my new favorite hat, this olive green Adidas hat I scored from TjMaxx with my new favorite winter slip ons, these fur slide ons from Riffraff! They are so comfy and chic and I love them too much! I was always skeptical about the fur shoes with the big pom poms on them but these are a little more tame and still super fun.

Headed somewhere for the holiday season?! Don’t forget to check out Delsey Luggage for all your travel needs!

Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas,

XOXO, LPOC

autumn athleisure

November 4, 2017

It’s November 4th but the temps say otherwise! I’m over here reminiscing on last weekend’s fall weather in ATX, wearing this suede blazer and travel wear that was oh so comfy for a day of travel and shopping on a cool day! Read below for how I style athleisure in the fall with a few key pieces…

My sister and I took a quick weekend trip to ATX last weekend and had a day planned full of food, coffee and shopping/sight seeing! When traveling, I want to look put together but also comfy enough for a road trip. This look did just that! I am wearing Old Navy’s new pants, the Stevie, that is like a fancy legging that could pass as dress pants or leggings, depending on your day! For this look, I dressed them down with an oversized grey v-neck and my all time fav Nikes that I scored from TjMaxx that match EVERYTHING! To dress my look up a little for the city, I layered my suede blazer on top to keep warm and add some contrast.

To accessorize my athleisure outfit, I wore my usual, rose gold Apple watch and oversized sunnies! I actually bought these sunglasses when in Austin that day from Loft for $8!!! Such a steal, I have linked them below ready to shop!

Hope y’all have the best Saturday! Here’s to cooler weather coming back…I hope!

XOXO, LPOC

beaches, let’s pack!

July 21, 2017

Alright, I am finally done packing for my two week trip I am going on starting tomorrow! I am very thankful to get to spend two weeks traveling to both Seaside, FL and the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee! It was quite a task to figure out how to pack for two full weeks to both the mountains & beach but I think I’ve done it! I asked my followers what type of travel post they wanted to read and here is what you said: how to pack and what I pack! So, that is exactly what I’m doing here. Scroll on down to read my LPOC travel tips and packing musts for your next big or small adventure.

First off, how freakin’ cute is this beach bag?! My mom got it for me from Target and it will hold all my beach needs! I am bringing along my favorite summer pieces and snacks including some Boom Chicka Pop(not sponsored, just passionate about popcorn).

Traveling is a chance to see new places and try new things. So why not do the same with your style?!

When I travel, I love to try out new styles that I typically might not wear back home. You get to start fresh somewhere new and no ones has to know that you are rocking that neck scarf for the first time. Maybe you just are that cool. But really, my number one tip for traveling is to branch out of your style comfort zone and go a little crazy. I am headed to the beach so my suitcase is bursting with vibrant colors! I am usually a more neutral gal so it is fun to dress a little girly-er than I typically do. When in Florida, that’s the saying, right?

How I pack:

I genuinely believe that overpacking is perfectly okay. I have tried the whole less is more thing on trips before and I end up regretting that I didn’t bring that one new dress or that cute top I love so much. I like having options, even when I’m not home. Now, if space is limited and you are flying, I totally understand how that might not be possible. I try to stick to some staples that will carry me through the week: denim, white shorts, graphic tees, tennies, anything and everything white!

Packing for both the beach and the mountains had its challenges but here is what is in my suitcase:

Queen C

March 25, 2017

Currently reminiscing on my time in Charlotte, NC. Hands down, one of my favorite cities I’ve been to. It is the cutest city and it feels like a big city but with less traffic and less people! Charlotte has such yummy food and cute parks and I wanted to share this look from my day in downtown Charlotte. Read below for outfit details and tips on what to do when in the queen city…

To dress for this spring day in Charlotte, I wanted to wear a top that could make a statement on its own. This floral flounce top from Shop The Mint does just that. I love the pattern and colors in this fun spring top and you can shop it here: https://www.shopthemint.com/products/a-friend-in-florals-top-blue It’s under $40! I found very similar earrings at Francesca’s that I have linked below. I finished my necessories with my cat eye, tortoise sunglasses(ON SALE) from Madewell and linked below along with my Fossil leather watch.

Charlotte Musts:

  1. Freedom Park

  3. Travel make up: I have a few things I always bring with me on trips, my favorite lipstick & a travel brush set! It is always great to have brush options when you are traveling and this IT cosmetics brush set is the perfect size.
  4. The perfect road trip outfit: boyfriend jeans, graphic tee, army jacket & slip on tennies or converse! I love a fun travel tee to get the trip started in a stylish way!

I hope you have a wonderful, relaxing spring break! Head to http://www.theglamorousteacher.com to read Kelly’s travel tips & necessities.
